Three astronauts have been sent to the “Connected Worlds”, the three moons of Ersatz-4, to study the special properties of their moonstone; this ore can be present in multiple places at the same time, but disturbing it causes its other instances to collapse. The three parties must work in tandem to prevent their mutual downfall.

Ludum Dare is the classic 48h game jam competition. The theme for #30 was “Connected Worlds”. I really liked this concept when i came up with it but ended up falling out of love with the mechanic halfway through, which is why it ended up so short. I wouldn’t say i’m disappointed with the result, but i do hope other people find it more interesting than i do. Artwork was made in Photoshop, music in SunVox, sounds generated in Bfxr and edited in Audition, font is “Number 19000” by WLM Fonts.

The game went on to place #82 (out of 1493) in the Theme category, which i was very surprised and happy with.
